Lola-Joe-Chair-160-YV0T6098Vienna. March 1938. Germany invades Austria. Actress Lola Blau is finally getting ready to make her dreams come true and hit the theatrical big time when war breaks out in Europe.

However, Lola is Jewish—and her own country is destroying these dreams by forcing her to leave her homeland. Heading for Switzerland, then for the USA, she's a big star on Broadway.

Still, desolate and homesick, she heads back to her homeland. Although the war is over, she finds that some people never change.

The character's journey encompasses all of life's emotions and shows how decisions made by so few can effect so many.

Lola-Puppet-160-YV0T6281Anna Kramer portrays Lola with both tragedy and compassion. Her performance helps an audience remember that thoughts of ethnicity may blind one's sense of Right and Wrong.

Praised in Germany and England, actress Anna Kramer is a theater animal of enormous energy and an unabashed will to act.
